Project Description

‘Splitsy’ was a bill splitting app that I designed and built as part of a small team of students for my second-year Software Projects module. It was made in Android Studio for the Android operating system and supported by a back-end SQL database. Our focus was on privacy - the application would allow people to pay back their friends or colleagues via PIN, without having to send bank details. It would also automatically sent payment if the bill had not been settled after a certain amount of time. We wrote a report at the conclusion of the project, viewable here:

As detailed in the report, during the project we worked using Agile practices, including scrum meetings and a kanban board. Though this project was ultimately left unfinished following the conclusion of the module, the repo can be viewed below (or above). You can also try our high fidelity prototype here.
